Items Accepted
Junk and debris generated from your residence only. Scrap metal, carpets, mattresses, toilets, sinks, foam packaging, wood items, plastic items, drywall, grills, electronics, chairs, sofas, and other household items.
Note:
1) Automobile and Small Truck Tire Fee: $5.00/each
2) Semi & Tractor Tires: $20/each
3) Refrigerators must be tagged and certified “Freon Removed”
4) Small loose items must be bagged or boxed (No shovel-off).
Items NOT Accepted
Liquids, oil, antifreeze, paints, cleaning supplies, lawn/garden chemicals, hazardous waste materials, dirt, adhesives, concrete, cement chunks, or rocks.
Note:
1) No loose shingles or “shovel-off” materials
2) No contractor generated construction/demolition debris
3) No large loads - trailers limited to no larger than 6’x10’

Thursday August 7, 2025, is the date for this year’s Lake-Mecosta-Osceola County “Clean Sweep” hazardous waste drop off. Lake County residents can drop off at either location:
